Many thanks for the assistance I have received from your marketing materials. We use them every day with our sales team of twelve people selling for our six hotels but maybe I could you give you an example. In May 2001, the Scottish Six Days Trial for motor cyclists, was cancelled due to the Foot and Mouth epidemic in the South of Scotland. Competitors come from all over the world for this event. This meant that two of our hotels with 217 rooms would be empty for 8 days. We needed to find 12 groups to fill the space. Using the your marketing materials we purchased from you, we managed, with only eight weeks lead time, to create an offer that sold to 15 groups, three more than we needed. We had to relocate three of these extra groups to our other hotels in Inverness and Oban.
